Good Days is a private, local-first app for saving one photo and an optional note from each day. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

No account, no ads, no analytics

Good Days doesn't require you to create an account or sign in. The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking of any kind — we don't know how you use the app, and we don't want to.

What's stored, and where

The only data Good Days handles is what you explicitly save: a photo, an optional short note, and the date. That data is stored on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, it's also synced to your own private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit, so your memories stay available across your own devices. This sync is opportunistic and private — your memories are never sent to a server operated by Good Days or to any third party. If iCloud is unavailable or you're signed out, the app works fully offline using only the copy on your device.

Photo access

Good Days never requests access to your entire photo library. When you choose a photo, the system photo picker (PhotosPicker) runs outside the app and hands back only the single photo you select — the app never sees or has access to the rest of your library.

Purchases

Good Days Premium (a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase) is sold and processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit. Good Days never receives or stores your payment details — that's handled by Apple.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder in Settings, Good Days schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. This doesn't involve any push-notification server or external service.

Your control over your data

You can edit or delete any individual memory at any time from within the app. Settings also offers a "Delete All Memories" option that permanently removes everything from your device and, if you sync through iCloud, from your private iCloud database as well. This cannot be undone.

If you cancel a Premium subscription or your lifetime purchase is no longer valid for any reason, memories you've already saved are never hidden, degraded, or deleted — you keep everything you created.

Children

Good Days isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from children. Because the app collects nothing about you beyond what you choose to save in your own private storage, there's no separate data-collection risk specific to younger users.
